Some fun tournaments . . .

March Racing Was a Breeze ...

Sunday March 3, 2007 Arizona Fuzion's tournament - Fun at Ramona, was called off due to the high winds. Racing on Saturday was a challenge; at times we thought some of the height dogs would fly away.  But Sunday morning the winds increased to a point that the taped down jumps and the lights would not stay in place.  All the teams voted to clean up and go to Denny’s for breakfast.

The following movie shows the strength of the wind as it picked up the mats and knocked people over once the tape was removed. It also shows how it took nearly everyone present to hold down the mats until they could be rolled up.

Lickety Splits would like to thank all the teams that stayed to help tear down the lanes and put things away. This was one tournament we didn’t have to sweep the mats and clean up all the dog hair.  The wind took care of that by sending it all off to the next county. Breakfast was nice being with our flyball friends.
